Qualifications & Requirements
Education
–
Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
–
Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or Finance advantageous.
Experience
–
2–4 years’ experience in:
o
Front Office / Reception
o
Night Audit in a hotel or lodge environment
–
Experience in a 5-star lodge or hotel highly preferred.
–
Knowledge of safari lodge operations is advantageous.
Technical Skills
–
Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) such as:
o
Opera, Protel, or similar
–
Strong numerical and reconciliation skills.
–
Computer literacy (MS Excel, Word, Outlook).

–
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
–
High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
–
Ability to work independently during night shifts.
–
Excellent problem-solving skills.
–
Strong communication and guest service skills.
–
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
–
Basic accounting knowledge.
Working Conditions
–
Night shift role 22:00 – 06:00.
–
Live-in position often required in remote lodge environments.
–
Work on a shift cycle (including weekends and public holidays).
–
Quiet but high-responsibility environment.
