Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise. You will work collaboratively with team members to enhance database functionality and support various applications, ensuring that data is accessible and secure for users across the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: – Expected to perform independently and become an SME. – Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. – Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. – Monitor database performance and implement necessary optimizations. – Assist in the development of backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data. Professional & Technical Skills: – Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Administration. – Strong understanding of database design principles and best practices. – Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques. – Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures for database systems. – Knowledge of security protocols and data protection measures.
