Business Sweden is expanding its presence in Mumbai and is now looking for an Associate to join our engaged team.As an Associate at Business Sweden, you will be part of our newest and rapidly growing office in Mumbai, complementing our teams in New Delhi and Bangalore. You will join a high-performing team with backgrounds in strategy consulting, M&A and private equity, working at the intersection of Swedish and Indian business communities.Our work focuses on two key areas:
- Supporting Swedish companies with growth and expansion in India and the broader region
- Engaging with leading Indian corporates and investors exploring partnerships and investments in Sweden
In this role, you will:
- Conduct structured analyses and develop sector and market perspectives
- Drive research activities to generate insights on industry trends, competitive landscapes and investment opportunities
- Support strategic projects related to market entry, partnerships and capital allocation
- Translate insights into high-quality deliverables and clear recommendations
- Collaborate closely with both local and global project teams and gain exposure to C-level executives early in your career

Formal requirements
- Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience, preferably from consulting, M&A or strategy roles.
- Experience working in multi-stakeholder environments.
- Strong analytical capabilities and excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- High proficiency in English.
- Legal right to work in India (citizenship, OCI or valid authorization).
