Inviting applications for the role of Senior Associate- Functional Testing
We are seeking a Senior Associate with expertise in Functional Testing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Defect Life Cycle (DLC), test case design, and Agile methodologies. A working knowledge of basic Java and Selenium for regression automation is a plus. This role involves designing, executing, and maintaining functional test cases, ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our software development process.
Responsibilities

• Create and execute detailed test cases based on system requirements and user stories.
• Perform functional testing to validate software functionality, including features, usability, and workflows.
• Adhere to the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle (DLC) processes to ensure efficient testing and defect management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams, participating in Scrum ceremonies and contributing to continuous delivery of quality software.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure new changes or features don’t negatively impact existing functionality.
• Support regression automation efforts using basic Java and Selenium.
• Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.
• Log defects, track progress, and provide timely updates on test results.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum years of experience in functional testing and test case design.
• Strong understanding of STLC and DLC processes.
• Experience in Agile environments and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Basic knowledge of Java and Selenium for regression test automation.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with testing tools such as JIRA, TestRail, and any test management tools, along with defect tracking systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate issues, risks, and ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions quickly.
