Network Delivery Architect – Remote

Job Description:Would you like to plan and build the Internet’s leading platform?Would like to be part of delivering Akamai’s traffic and products to the world?Join our Network Planning team!Our Edge Platform team takes ownership for planning, building, maintaining and operating our global platform. We design, develop and deploy critical technologies including the hardware, software and network infrastructure that provide the technical underpinnings for all of Akamai’s products. Our team ensures consistent availability and performance for our customers.Partner with the bestAs a Network Delivery Architect you will be collaborating with multiple teams to understand deployment requirements from a technical and business perspective. Together you will evaluate Akamai product needs and how to fulfill those in the internet ecosystem.As a Network Delivery Architect, you will be responsible for:

• Building and designing performant and scalable infrastructure to meet the traffic targets of the business.
• Coordinating deployment strategy and system changes, participating in timeline planning and release schedules, ensuring deliverables are met
• Collaborating within the team and cross-functional teams to propose, plan and deploy new technology and processes
• Identifying and working to resolve problems and improve efficiency in the network
• Participating in architectural design discussions and planning sessions
• Setting execution priorities based on business need

• Be curious, and able to learn complex technical concepts and communicate them to a range of audiences
• Having an experience of minimum 2+ years
• Be able to analyze data, provide actionable solutions and thought leadership to internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrate a good knowledge of internet and telecommunications concepts with the ability to communicate them effectively
• Demonstrate experience in delivering projects with an ability to manage multiple priorities
• Be a good team player, collaborating with people from across the business and fluent in English
