ROLE DESCRIPTION:

• Design and develop Android applications with guidance from senior developers
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code under guidance
• Own and deliver assigned stories and tasks
• Collaborate with team members to implement new features
• Debug and fix issues in existing applications and resolve production issues proactively
• Support code quality and follow best practices
• Learn and apply new tools and technologies to improve development
• Provide basic support for troubleshooting and maintenance tasks
• Translate business requirements into scalable application architectures
• Assess feasibility and scalability of front-end solutions; collaborate with business and product teams
• Build sustainable and accessibility-compliant solutions
• Address and prevent long-term technical debt
• Research and develop proof-of-concepts and innovative customer interaction ideas
• Foster a learning culture by sharing best practices and lessons learned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSTechnical Skills:

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science / information science.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in Android development using Kotlin.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON for app integration
• Solidunderstanding of Android SDK and core components (Activities, Fragments, Services)
• Hands on withAWS (1 yr mandatory)
• Experience withCore Data,Push Notifications, andApp Lifecycle Management.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Lean practices
• Understanding of MVVM or Viper or MVC architecture pattern.
• Familiarity with Android Architecture Components (View Model, Live Data, Navigation)
