Description:Job Summary:The Yard Hand III serves as a senior team member, overseeing daily yard operations and ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with company procedures. This position requires extensive experience in material handling, equipment operation, and leadership skills.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and train Yard Hand I and II employees, ensuring best practices and efficiency.
• Oversee material receiving, storage, and distribution processes.
• Operate advanced equipment, such as boom trucks and heavy-duty forklifts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and OSHA standards.
• Work closely with management to maintain accurate inventory and optimize yard operations.
• Coordinate with delivery drivers and warehouse personnel for smooth logistics.
• Address customer needs and provide expert recommendations on materials.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges, maintaining productivity and safety.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Advanced equipment operation skills and required certifications.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in training and supervising employees.
• Knowledge of building materials, logistics, and inventory management.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
