Job description:
– A warehouse keeper is required for a construction project in Jeddah
– Working hours: 8 hoursObjective of the job:
– Managing and organizing the warehouse for the construction project, and ensuring the accurate and safe receipt, storage and disbursement of materials and equipment, in a way that supports the workflow on site without delay or waste.Tasks and responsibilities:
– Receiving construction materials and equipment and matching them with purchase orders and invoices
– Inspect received materials and ensure their quality, quantities and condition
– Organizing and arranging materials inside the warehouse according to the principles of proper storage and safety
– Distributing materials to the site according to approved requests and recording them accurately
– Follow up warehouse balances and prepare periodic reports (daily/weekly/monthly)
– Maintaining the cleanliness and order of the warehouse and adhering to safety procedures
– Coordination with project management and procurement regarding deficiencies and needs
– Report any damage, loss or non-conforming materials
– Use inventory systems or records (manual or electronic)
– Participate in the periodic and surprise inventory of the warehouse
Requirements:

• Minimum high school diploma (preferably diploma in warehouse management or similar field)
• At least two years of experience as a warehouse keeper, preferably in construction projects
• Good knowledge of construction materials and equipment
• Computer proficiency (Excel / warehouse systems)
• Ability to work under pressure and in a work site environment
• Physical fitness appropriate to the nature of field work
• Good communication skills
• Adherence to regulations and instructions
• Honesty and taking responsibility
• Organization and time management
