Supply Chain Support – Assisting with tracking purchase orders and supplier follow-ups – Supporting the monitoring of delivery timelines for parts and materials – Assisting in updating supply chain trackers and internal systems – Supporting the escalation of delays or shortages to the Supply Chain team – Assisting with stock visibility and inventory monitoring – Supporting the preparation of procurement and delivery documentation (service items, sales orders, production orders, assembly orders, etc.) 2. Logistics Coordination – Assisting with coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments – Supporting the tracking of vehicle and component deliveries – Shadowing communication with transport providers and internal teams – Assisting in maintaining logistics schedules and delivery documentation – Supporting communication of delivery timelines to relevant teams 3. Production & Scheduling Support – Assisting with updating production schedules – Shadowing coordination between graphics, production, and logistics teams – Supporting the tracking of job progress against the schedule – Assisting in identifying schedule conflicts or delays 4. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP. You will receive structured, planned training sessions such as: Formal Training – Assisting in completing onboarding modules covering supply chain processes – Attending scheduled training on ERP systems, Excel, and internal tracking tools – Shadowing formal briefings on logistics planning and production scheduling – Participating in health & safety and compliance training – Observing structured client service procedures and communication protocols Informal Training – Shadowing your mentor during supplier calls, logistics discussions, and scheduling meetings – Assisting with real-time problem-solving alongside the Supply Chain team – Supporting team members during busy operational periods to understand workflow – Observing how delays, shortages, and schedule changes are managed – Receiving ongoing feedback, coaching, and practical demonstrations
