Software Test Lead (Manual/QA/QC) – Malaysia On-siteLocation: Malaysia, Prefer Vietnamese who willing to onsite in MalaysiaEmployment Type: Full-time, Hybrid ModeAbout the OpportunityOn behalf of our client, we are hiring a Software Test Lead (Manual/QA/QC) to support their client team in Malaysia. Our client is a US-based service company, they’ve grown into a global organization with locations in the US, Vietnam, Mexico and Poland.Joining the team as a Software Test Lead (Manual/QA/QC), you will be responsible for:Key ResponsibilitiesLeading testing team for software development projectOversee the day-to-day operations, provide status updates, manage resource allocation effectively following a staffing plan, connect with ITPMs independently and client’s stakeholder interaction for the Squad(s).Coordinate with related departments/stakeholders to unblock blockers (accounts, access…)Communicate directly with clients to gather requirements, provide project updates, and address any testing-related issues or concerns.Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to understand project requirements and provide input on testability.Perform all testing activities independently and effectively: test estimation, test planning, test strategy, test cases design, test execution, defects tracking, etc.Understand automation frameworks, can maintain and use the automation framework to automate the new test casesCollect data and report testing statusShow creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectivenessWorks with offshore team to communicate findings and coordinates bug resolutionContributes to the QA processes by providing the team with recommendations related to QA deliverables and actively participates in process improvementsMentors and trains other team membersRequirementsJob RequirementsWillingness and ability to travel to Malaysia frequently for on-site work and client engagementsAt least an intermediate skill level of EnglishExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact directly with clients and internal teams.Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detailLikely having 7+ years of experience in the software development, especially the software testing processesAble to self-learn and quickly adapt to new technologiesFamiliar with the Agile development methodologiesAble to perform tasks under high pressureExperience with managing testing team & working with global clientsExperience with defining/tailoring software testing process which can jointly be applied for the testing team & client’s teamsTechnical skills:Strong Banking domain knowledge on web/ mobile app testing expertiseStrong experiences on manual testing (requirement analysis, test strategy, test approach, test plan, test techniques included black box, risk-based, exploratory, Non-UI testing (DB testing, Backward compatibility…), A/B testing, etc.)Experience on Functional testing, API testingExperience on using tools: Jira, Postman/Newman.
