Our products don’t just serve ads or stream movies – they underpin our economy and touch people’s livesWe’re looking for a talented .NET engineer to join our Engineering Team as a Software Specialist – someone who thrives in a collaborative, agile environment and wants to contribute to the delivery of modern, reliable services that New Zealanders trust every day.Whether you’re an experienced mid-level engineer ready to deepen your engineering skills, or a senior developer eager to take on more technical challenges, we have several opportunities to join our team.What you’ll be working on?You’ll be part of a cross-functional squad modernising and maintaining some of our core services – a mix of legacy and modern systems – as we continue our transformation into a cloud-first, microservices-based architecture.Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using C# and .NET
• Building scalable and resilient cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure
• Contributing to the evolution of our CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Taking ownership of solutions from design through to production
• Collaborating closely with engineers, testers, and product owners
• Optionally: mentoring and supporting junior team members (senior level)

What you’ll bring to the role?

• Solid experience building backend applications with C# and the .NET ecosystem
• Hands-on exposure to Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, or similar)
• Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven design
• Understanding of CI/CD, version control, and test automation
• A mindset of continuous learning and curiosity
• Senior candidates will bring deeper architectural or team leadership experience.
