Location: GurugramJob DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with strong experience in PHP and Node.js for backend development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building high-performance REST APIs, working with databases, and developing scalable backend systems.Experience with Angular for frontend development will be beneficial, while Flutter/Dart exposure is an added advantage. Knowledge of Java will be considered a plus.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain server-side applications using PHP and Node.js.Design, develop, and optimize REST APIs with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and security.Work with Angular to support frontend integration where required.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following coding standards and best practices.Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and reliability.Work with MySQL/MariaDB databases, including writing optimized queries and improving performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to ensure system stability.Contribute to testing strategies and implementation of test plans for application reliability.Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies.Qualifications and Skills3–4 years of experience in software development.Strong hands-on experience in PHP and Node.js development.Experience building and maintaining REST APIs.Good knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB, including query optimization and database performance tuning.Experience with Angular for frontend integration is preferred.Exposure to Flutter/Dart in projects will be an added advantage.Basic or working knowledge of Java is a plus.Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and testing methodologies.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet project deadlines.Self-motivated with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
