We’re Hiring Senior Commercial Underwriter (Property &Casualty

My client, a leading global insurance company is recruiting a Senior Commercial Underwriter and a Commercial Underwriter for their growing property and casualty team. These are new investment roles due to growth in their middle-market segment.The role is based in central Dublin (Hybrid). The role is focused on new business acquisition in the middle-market segment including liaising and building relationships with broker partners.About Your New Job, you will be responsible for:

• Underwriting and converting new Property and Casualty business in SME/middle-market in line with the business plan.
• Collaborating with sales and distribution, operations and underwriting management.
• Building strong relationships with brokers including occasional visits to brokers.

What skills You Need

• CIP Qualified
• At least 3 years experience in property and casualty underwriting for the Commercial Underwriter position and at least 5 years in property and casualty for the Senior Commercial Underwriter role.
• Experience in the SME / middle-market insurance market.
