SCADA (Electrical) EngineerGeneral Requirements:ô¸ Strong knowledge of power system operations (generation, transmission, distribution) and integration of substations with SCADA.ô¸ Familiarity with SCADA concepts, databases and protocols (ICCP, IEC).ô¸ Proficiency in English (spoken & written); Arabic is an advantage.ô¸ Awareness of OT/ICS cybersecurity practices for electrical infrastructure with solid understanding of international standards (ISA, IEC 62443, ISO 27001, etc.) and local regulations.Qualifications:ô¸ Bachelor’s degree in electrical / computer / Electronic Engineering .ô¸ Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in SCADA system for electrical utilities.ô¸ Hand-on experience with GE SCADA system including Historian, Database, communication protocols.Core Responsibilities:ô¸ Operation & Maintenance of SCADA system at National/ Distribution control centers.ô¸ Configure, update and manage SCADA databases, displays, alarms and trends.ô¸ Perform integration and commissioning (End to End test) of new substations into SCADA system.ô¸ Ensure SCADA system availability and reliability.ô¸ Troubleshoot and resolve SCADA incidentsô¸ Participate in system upgrades, patching and disaster recovery testing.ô¸ Work schedule: 8 hrs./day, 5 days a week, with emergency call-out support.
