Location: PuneKey SkillsJava, Selenium, API Testing, SQL, Manual Testing, UI Testing, Automation Frameworks, JIRA, Confluence, UNIXJob DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer with strong expertise in Java and Selenium-based test automation. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of the complete testing lifecycle, including both manual and automated testing, along with hands-on experience in API and backend validation.Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Java and Selenium
• Perform end-to-end testing including manual, UI, and regression testing
• Execute API testing and validate backend services using industry-standard tools
• Analyse requirements and create detailed test cases, test plans, and test documentation
• Perform database validation using SQL queries
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
• Track and manage defects, test cases, and requirements using JIRA and Confluence
• Contribute to automation framework design and enhancements
• Execute tests on UNIX environments and support troubleshooting activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Automation Testing using Java and Selenium
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies
• Hands-on experience with REST API testing and backend validation
• Proficiency in Core Java programming for automation development
• Strong experience with SQL queries and data validation
• Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence for test management
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in building or maintaining automation frameworks

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of tools like Postman / Rest Assured
