With a strong interest in integration and platform engineering, you will actively contribute to a growing pipeline of integration-centric initiatives and strategic technology programmes.You’ll work on a range of compelling projects focused on building and evolving enterprise integrations and integration platforms. The work will include delivery of new integration services, major and minor enhancements to existing solutions, lifecycle upgrades across the integration technology stack, and the integration of SaaS and commercial off-the-shelf software into the wider application ecosystem.About youAs a highly experienced Software Engineer you’ll find this role truly stimulating!You’ll be required to think broadly to understand how your work contributes to the wider systems and strategic direction of Transpower, leveraging your product development background and experience working across software development and operations.Most importantly, you’re passionate about software delivery and quality and have a desire to learn and share your knowledge with others.To be considered your CV and cover letter will demonstrate:

  • 10 or more years of analysis, design and programming experience
  • Experience working with applications DevOps tool-chains for continuous build, integration, packaging and deployment
  • Experience in large scale application integration and the use of enterprise integration patterns
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of a broad range of hardware and software products

You’ll be able to demonstrate skills at a senior level for these languages / frameworks:

  • Spring Boot/Java
  • Experience of building RESTful web services and JSON
  • Distributed services / REST / micro services architecture
  • Apache Camel, CXF, ActiveMQ, Kafka
  • Opensource frameworks
  • Linux (RHEL)
  • Maven/Gradle
  • Oracle
