We’re Hiring Primary Homeroom Teacher

Job Summary

• Produce well planned, interesting and differentiated lessons from the medium-term plans, using the agreed school format and made available on the computer.
• Demonstrate good knowledge of the Curriculum, keeping abreast of current changes and modifications.
• Be aware of the use of the resources in the school to enhance teaching and children’s learning.
• Ensure that all subjects are being allocated the amount of teaching time dictated by the school (particularly in the absence of specialist colleagues) and that children receive the amount of expected teaching in any given subject.
• Ensure that academic standards and expectations are maintained and that the children are given regular written and verbal feedback with work being marked following the marking and presentation policy.
• Administer and mark any formal assessments in accordance with guidelines given.
• Ensure that any records of assessment are kept up to date.
• To encourage children to develop skills for lifelong learning.
• Be fully aware of and implement all School policies, schemes of work and agreed planning.

Salary: OMR 1,000 – 1,200

Qualifications required: Bachelor of Education or Bachelor Degree in addition to post graduate specialized in Education.
