We’re Hiring Piping & Layout Engineer

ISS International Spa is looking for a Piping and Layout Engineer with offshore experience in Doha, Qatar.Responsibilities:Support Bidding phase / Commercial proposal development on: Bill of material, Plot plan lay out proposal and define man hour and cost estimateEnsure the Piping and Layout engineering support to different projectsAnalyze technical documents (eg specifications, calculation notes, drawings) to assess the scope of the studies required and the potential risksEstimate quantities or validate estimation done by other specialists of the teamCheck all produced documents (internal or subcontracted) like design reports, technical specifications, drawings under responsibilityWrite the Piping and Layout methodologies / Design Premises comprehensive of all necessary data, general and specific design guidelinesMonitor and report actual progress including 3D / check for Discipline activities, including control of men-hours and delivered documentsProvide technical support to Procurement, Subcontracting and Construction activities included in the scope of workInform on a permanent basis the Project Piping and Layout leader of any foreseen technical or financial or delay riskOther Details:Location – DohaDuration – 6 months with possibility of extensionISS International SpA, founded in 2004 in Rome, Italy, is a leading engineering service provider specializing in Integrated Service Solutions for the Energy and Oil & Gas sectors.
