We’re Hiring Lead II – Backend Dev – Node JS, Typescript, GraphQL

Job Description:We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, and AWS to design and build scalable, high‑performance backend systems. The role involves working on cloud‑native architectures using AWS CDK, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and driving best practices in backend engineering.Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
• Build and manage GraphQL APIs ensuring performance, security, and reliability
• Architect and deploy cloud infrastructure using AWS services and AWS CDK (Infrastructure as Code)
• Implement best practices for API design, data modeling, and system scalability
• Ensure high code quality through code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decision‑making

Mandatory Skills

• 7+ years of backend development experience
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL (schema design, resolvers, performance tuning)
• Strong experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB/RDS, S3, IAM, etc.)
• Proven experience using AWS CDK for infrastructure provisioning
• Solid understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices, and event‑driven systems
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
• Strong understanding of security, scalability, and performance optimization
