The role involves end-to-end ownership of hardware lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery, system integration, and compliance with safety and quality standards.QualificationsKey ResponsibilitiesProject Execution & DeliveryLead complete lifecycle of BMS hardware projects (concept ? design ? validation ? release)Define scope, timelines, milestones, and resource plansMonitor project KPIs, risks, and ensure on-time deliveryHardware Development & Technical CoordinationDrive development of:BMS electronics (AFE, MCU, sensing, protection circuits)Communication interfaces (CAN, Ethernet)Ensure alignment with BESS system architecture (battery, PCS, EMS integration)Coordinate cross-functional teams: Hardware, Software, Mechanical, V&VSystem Requirements & IntegrationTranslate system-level requirements into hardware specificationsEnsure requirement traceability and system-level integrationSupport end-to-end product integration and change managementValidation, Quality & ComplianceLead DVP, validation, and qualification testingDrive FMEA, root cause analysis, and issue resolutionEnsure compliance with safety and regulatory standards (IEC, UL, functional safety)Stakeholder & Vendor ManagementInterface with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholdersManage vendors for PCB design, prototyping, and testingEnsure clear communication and alignment on deliverablesDocumentation & Product ReleaseEnsure availability of:Design documents, test reports, interface specificationsSupport product release, certification, and manufacturing handoverRequired QualificationsEducationBachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical / Electronics EngineeringExperience15-20 years in hardware development & project managementExperience in BMS / Battery Systems / Power Electronics / BESSTechnical SkillsStrong knowledge of:BMS architecture, battery sensing, balancingEmbedded hardware & analog/digital designSystem integration in energy storage systemsUnderstanding of validation processes (DVP, testing, reliability)Project & ToolsExperience in:Project planning, risk management, stakeholder handlingTools: Jira / MS Project / equivalent tracking toolsSoft SkillsStrong leadership & communication skillsAnalytical and problem-solving mindset (critical for BMS domain)Preferred SkillsExposure to certification and compliance processesKey Success MetricsOn-time project deliveryHardware quality and reliabilityCompliance with standardsStakeholder satisfactionAdditional Information
