We’re hiring DevOps Engineer with Backend Development

Job Description:SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and container orchestration. The ideal candidate will also possess backend development experience to support microservices-based applications. This role involves ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Set up and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and Google Cloud.
• Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ensure system security through IAM, VPC, Security Groups, and NACLS.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure, applications, and deployments.
• Configure proactive monitoring and alerting systems (Datadog, CloudWatch..)
• Manage version control workflows including branching, tagging, and release management in GitLab.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Expertise in IaC using Terraform.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Google Cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, CDN, Proxy).
• Experience implementing cloud networking (VPCs, subnets, routing).
• Familiarity with Linux-based systems and microservices architecture.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Open Telemetry.
• Understanding of security best practices for cloud environments.
• Experience with SQL and backend technologies (Java, Tomcat, Spring Boot etc).
• Knowledge of version control systems (GitLab).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Datadog and advanced observability tools.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
• Experience with React JS, PHP, and Drupal.
