Execute trades based on momentum trading strategies, focusing on intraday.
Conduct technical analysis using charts, indicators, and other tools to identify momentum setups.
Monitor and analyze market trends, news, and economic events that can impact trading opportunities.
Manage risk effectively by setting and adhering to stop-loss levels and position sizing rules.
Continuously refine and optimize trading strategies through backtesting and real-time performance reviews.
Collaborate with the team to share insights and develop new trading techniques.Qualifications:
Proven experience as a momentum stock trader, with a strong track record of profitability.
In-depth understanding of momentum trading techniques and related technical indicators (e.g., RSI, MACD, VWAP, and volume analysis).
Familiarity with trading platforms such as Thinkorswim, Interactive Brokers, or similar.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to act swiftly in high-pressure situations.
Knowledge of market microstructure and the ability to trade multiple asset classes is a plus.
