Trainee Technician

ALG is currently recruiting Trainee Technicians for our Engine MRO client.This traineeship is an opportunity for aspiring individuals who are keen to join aviation industry but do not meet the pre-requisites as a trained aircraft engine technician. Upon successful completion of the programme, a career as a qualified aircraft engine technician awaits you.Job Responsibilities:

• The programme involves a fully-sponsored training programme with an allowance over the one-year training period.
• Career progression opportunity is open to promising technicians.
• The programme encompasses initial company familiarisation, classroom training and on-the-job training.
• The initial familiarisation provides an insight to the working environment prior to attending classroom training.
• The three-month classroom training, consisting of theory and practical sessions, will be conducted and assessed by an external training academy.
• The nine-month on-the-job training provides the opportunity to learn and work on the renowned Engines.

Job Requirements:

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Engineering (eg. Aeronautical/Avionics/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Manufacturing/ Electrical/Precision)
• Completed full-time National Service (for locals)
• Able to perform rotating shift work
• Willing to work in Changi
