About this Role:Personnel Services Unlimited is hiring Spot Welder Operators for a temporary, short-term (1-2 weeks) assignment in the Metal Department of our client’s manufacturing facility in Forest City, NC.This is a great opportunity for individuals with manufacturing or machine operation experience looking for immediate work!
- Pay Rate: $17-$18/hour (Depending on experience)
- Shift: 1st Shift (6:30 AM – 2:30 PM)
Responsibilities Include:
- Setting up and operating the spot welder.
- Loading welding fixtures properly and ensure tips are in good condition.
- Perform quality checks and properly label inventory.
- Maintain a clean work area and follow safety protocols
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Skills and Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: At least 3 months of machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Skills:
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must maintain required efficiency levels.
- Physical Demands: Standing and walking for long periods, frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 35 lbs.
