Software Engineer

This role is for a Software Engineer position in the industrial/manufacturing industry based in Singapore. The potential candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions to improve the company’s operations.

• Develop and maintain software applications to support the company’s functions and projects.
• Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and client requirements for software.
• Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture.
• Use and adapt existing web applications for apps.
• Create and test software prototypes.
• Assist software personnel in handling project-related work and deadlines.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to your team members.
• Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc.

• Design, document, develop, and deliver software products.
• Develop .NET C# software modules.
• Write and optimize complex SQL Server queries and stored procedures.
• Implement unit tests using Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Create functional and interface specifications.
• Integrate software components into warehouse systems.
• Support software commissioning, integration, and site acceptance testing.
• Lead software documentation, development, configuration, and testing.
• Participate in document, design, functionality, and code reviews.
• Ensure project timelines are met in coordination with team leaders and managers.
• Contribute to improving software development processes.
• Train customers and key users on installed applications.
