About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and visionary Software Development Technical Directorin modern web architectures, cloud platforms, digital innovation, and strong people management experience. You will play a crucial role in leading technology teams and driving the adoption of innovative solutions that enhance business growth.Key Responsibilities:Solution Architecture & Development

• Oversee the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.
• Strong background in software architecture(microservices, cloud native development, headless).
• Experienced in web and mobile development.
• Tech Stacks: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Ensure best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP etc ).

Technology Strategy & Leadership:

• Define and implement technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Lead the adoption of modern content management, microservices and AI-driven innovations.
• Drive the development of a Google Cloud Platform capability in the region with an emphasis on Data Engineering and AI.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to drive competitive advantage.

People & Stakeholder Management:

• Lead and mentor technology teams across Malaysia and Hong Kong, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Build and scale teams, ensuring effective talent management and development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product, and delivery) to align technology solutions with business goals.

Key Requirements:

• Strong background in software architecture(microservices, cloud native development, headless).
• Experienced in web and mobile development.
• Tech Stacks: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Experienced in cloud platforms – AWS, GCPetc.
• Able to communicate in Cantonese / Mandarinis an added advantage.
• Proven people management experience.
• Ability to work closely with business teams to develop technology roadmaps and drive execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
