Minimum 8+ years of Software Engineering experience working on challenging issues with a self-starter and self-motivated attitude.
Proficiency in Java, PL/SQL, Webservers, APM tools
Utilize standard software development practices and procedures towards scoping, architecture, specification, development, source control, code review, documentation and testing of features.
Provide direction in architecture discussions, design sessions and code reviews on functional correctness, architectural maintainability and performance.
Experience building microservices and RESTful services
Excellent team player with good communication skills and be capable of working well across teams from different geographies.
Experience in leading teams, coaching & mentoring junior engineers.
Experience with tools like Kubernetes/Docker, Kafka is desirableCareer Level – IC4Responsibilities:As a Principal Software Developer in our team, you’ll be responsible for, and lead efforts in, designing and building scalable, distributed, and resilient software components and services to support Oracle Food and Beverage platform. As a technical leader on the team, you will own the complete software development lifecycle, from design, development, testing, first class monitoring, to production. We believe in ownership and expect you to think long term, mentor, and empower other engineers. Java development experience is required. Other recommended tools and technologies may include HTML/JavaScript, Jetty Webserver, Struts, Rest APIs, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, JAX-RS/Jersey, OAuth/OAuth2, OpenID Connect, among others.
