Senior Technical Service Executive

SUMMARY OF THE ROLESupport sales by offering technical advice/technical service. As well as in technical documentation and complaint handling. Moreover, conduct and track technical training externally using the standardized training materials and global standards in order to ensure correct use of products and accurate technical advice.This position will report to the Technical Service Manager and will be based in Riyadh.Responsibilities:Provide technical service, guidance and advice to customers by regular visits to applicatorโ€™s facilities and to ensure that our products are applied properly without any problems.Support and assist the local sales team in increasing sales growth and market share by establishing Jotun products for new customers. Or, establishing Jotun new products at existing customers.Support sales personnel by providing relevant documentation and making draft specifications and project-specific procedures to ensure that the right products and solutions are used for the right purpose and in line with customer expectations.Investigate assigned complaints by on-site investigations when needed, following up with QC and local R&D, analysis of possible root causes, and providing relevant documentation to support the conclusion of the specific claim.Run customers plant improvement projects by undertaking product development trials of applicators facilities to ensure that customers get the benefits from Jotunโ€™s Innovation programs.Share learning and knowledge from complaint cases by documenting corrective actions taken and their effects to limit the occurrence of the claim and Jotunโ€™s risk exposure.Conduct professional applicator plant audits and training by technical visit program (e.g. Jotun Approved Applicator, Jotun Powder School) to ensure that specified quality standards in application and product specifications are adhered to (applicable for Powder)Conduct customer’s plant improvement projects by undertaking product development trials at applicators’ facilities, ensuring customers benefit from Jotun’s innovative products.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFEREducation and experience:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, or related field
  • General Industrial Paints & Coatings industry
  • 3 years of work experience in preferably in technical services.
  • Proficiency in the use of various communications applications like CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.
