Growing together.Senior Software Engineer – The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient APIs, building responsive and dynamic user interfaces, and managing databases. This role requires a solid understanding of .Net API development, front-end development using React, object-oriented programming principles, database management, and version control systems.The project aims to enhance the UHC business operations by leveraging advanced technologies such as AI/ML, BOTs, and various software products. The primary goal is to automate processes, improve efficiency, and provide better services to customers.Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method. The roles in this function will cover all primary development activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver code with high quality for our applications, products and services and to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps.These roles include, but are not limited to analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery. With every role in the company, each position has a requirement for building quality into every output. This also includes evaluating new tools, new techniques, strategies; Automation of common tasks; build of common utilities to drive organizational efficiency with a passion around technology and solutions and influence of thought and leadership on future capabilities and opportunities to apply technology in new and innovative ways.Primary Responsibilities:

• Net API Development: Design, implement, and maintain efficient APIs using .Net technologies
• Front-End Development using React: Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces using React
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Apply solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns in software development
• Database Management: Manage and query databases effectively using SQL Server or other relational databases
• Version Control Systems: Use version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration
• Basic, structured, standard approach to work

EligibilityTo apply to an internal job, employees must meet the following criteria:

• SG 25 & SG 26 can apply

• SG 25 will move to SG 26
• SG 26 will move laterally
• Performance rating in the last common review cycle of “Meets Expectations” or higher.
• Not be on any active CAP (Corrective Action Plan) or active disciplinary action.

Required Qualifications:

• BE/BTECH (Fulltime Graduate)
• Experience required 3.5+ years
• Experience with database management, particularly SQL Server or other relational databases
• Experience with Copilot to improve efficiency and effectiveness in development tasks
• Solid knowledge of .Net API development
• Proficiency in front-end development using React
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
• Proficiency in using version control systems like Git

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience with cloud solutions and services
• Familiarity with both front-end and back-end development tools and techniques
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven experience in software development roles with a focus on .Net API development, front-end development using
• Angular or React, object-oriented programming, database management, and version control systems
