Job Description:Join Pitney Bowes as a Senior Software Engineer – Cloud/Backend (Go Lang)Years of Experience: 3+Payroll structure – Third partyJob Location- Pune*Looking for immediate joiners*ImpactAs a Senior Software Engineer (Cloud/ Backend- Go Lang), you will be part of the team that designs and develops cloud-based offerings. You will be deeply involved in leading the design/development of the SaaS based offering including collaborating across the organization with Architects, UX experts, product managers and other software developers. You will use your expertise in building highly scalable cloud solutions in an agile setting. You are expected to be hands on and up to date with the latest technology stack. If this type of position motivates you, tell us why you are the right person for this challenging role!The JobOwnership of Design and development of highly scalable, highly available, and performance-optimized cloud applicationsConstantly drive innovations in the platforms and productsWrite reusable, testable, and efficient codeImprove engineering standards, code reviews, and build necessary toolingMentor & guide the junior developers in the teamQualifications & Skills requiredMust HaveAround 3 years of experience in GolangAt least 3 years of experience in Design/Development in Microservices based architecture, REST APIs, Open-Source libraries, and frameworks.More than 3 years of hands-on designing DB models and schema experience with NoSQL DB like MongoDB.3+ years exposure to cloud native solutions and infrastructure using AWS (AWS IOT experience is plus)Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Gitlab pipelines.Well verse with DevOps practices and tools like Sumo logic, ArgoCD, Grafana, SplunkSolid understanding and prior use of TDD (Test Driven Development) practices and automated UI testing practices and software is required.Excellent communication skills written and verbal. Good team player.Strong in troubleshooting, unit test and debugging skillsGood to HaveExperience in Android application developmentExposure to IOT domainGood understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
