Senior Software Engineer

We are looking to hire a dynamic Senior Software Engineer in PHP to manage our back-end services and ensure a seamless interchange of data between the server and our users. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and coding all server-side logic. You will also be required to maintain the central database and respond to requests from the team as well as the client. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming, understanding of MVC designs, and working knowledge of backend tools & front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.Responsibilities:Lead the entire web application development lifecycle, including concept, design, test, release,and support phases.Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan, andidentifying areas for modification and improvement.Design, develop and maintain and maintain efficient PHP modules to seamlessly integrate front-end technologies.Conducting analysis of client requirements and developing back-end portals with an optimizeddatabase.Finalizing back-end features and testing web applications.Updating and altering application features to enhance performance.Should be able to come up with effective solutions to fill the gap between product features andcustomer needs.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Ability to manage & coordinate with internal & external teams as required.Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to improve system architecture.Requirements & Qualification:Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent workexperience).3-4 years of working expertise in PHP Full stack developmentProven experience as a Senior Software Engineer/ Senior PHP Developer or similar role with astrong portfolio of PHP projects.Intermediate to expert level experience in Laravel frameworkSolid understanding about web technologySolid understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB,Redis).Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.Strong fundamentals in OO, algorithms and data structuresExperience in working on Linux environmentPreferred Skills3-4 years of expertise in PHP, with atleast 1 year in LaravelGood to have:Good knowledge of MongoDBExperience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.Knowledge of application scalabilityKnowledge in Software Design & UX
