Join us as we digitally connect the world and shape the future.The RoleThe Senior Software Engineer will partner in an agile team environment to design, develop, code, test and debug new software or significant enhancements to existing software of moderate complexity. Develop solutions across many disciplines and be responsible for producing and explaining solutions in the form of documented system requirements.The Main Responsibilities

  • Produce quality code, participate in am activities, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team.
  • Work closely with business partners and technical staff to create technical solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with product developers in an agile team to define and implement effective and efficient automated tests.
  • Build production-quality enterprise-grade systems that achieve target SLAs for scalability, reliability, and performance on an agreed upon schedule.
  • Actively participate in code-review process.
  • Design and implement software systems, focusing on embedded software written in C/C++ with occasional PC and mobile development using other languages as needed.
  • Prioritize and handle multiple concurrent projects and efforts.
  • Demonstrate accountability for successful completion of assignments and tasks.

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • 6+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience (Computer Science or similar is preferred). 4 + years of experience with a master’s degree.
  • Working knowledge of software development methodologies, standards, and coding best practices like C#, ASP.NET, .NET MVC, .NET Core, SQL, Visual Studio, JavaScript, Node JS, Angular JS, React JS, and more.
  • Experience in Agile practices, including planning and grooming, sprint management, daily standup, and retrospective participation.
  • Experience in developing scalable high-performance systems to support high data volume processing.
  • Highly motivated, organized, reliable and detail oriented.
  • Quick learner and actively seeks out new technology.
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, written and verbal communication skills.
