The primary focus will be the development of all Python Django applications and Python REST API’s. The Developer will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application; therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.ResponsibilitiesWriting reusable, testable, and efficient code.Design and implementing low-latency, high-availability and performance applications.Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.Implementation of security and data protection.Integration of data storage solutions (Relational, Non- Relational and Distributed Data).Working alongside other developers and UI/UX designers to build complex business logic and features to add to the existing web application from concept to implementation.Architect backend, high-concurrency, multi-threaded, server-systemsOptimise existing stack and software.Work on designing and implementing APIs.Develop / Improve the core infrastructure for high scalability.QualificationsPrimary SkillsMinimum 5+ years of experience in Python, Django, Django Rest framework and ORM is required.Strong understanding and experience in building RESTful APIs are required.Strong fundamentals in Data Structures, Algorithms, OOPs and Design patterns.Experience in RDBMS, Understanding of DB Architecture and good control over complex SQL queries are required.Familiarity with GIT.Additional Skill (Not mandatory)Experience in any of the frontend or mobile application development platforms/technologies such as iOS and Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is a plusExperience in working with AWS (S3, RDS etc).Basic debugging skills in frontend technologies such as Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is required.Knowledge of Celery, Elastic Search, Messaging Tool and Caching Frameworks is an added advantage.Familiarity in Docker and other DevOps operations.Familiarity in setting CI/CD Pipelines using Jenkins.Hands-on experience in working with e-commerce platforms is a plus.Understanding the differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimising output to match the specific platform is a plus.Additional InformationAn amazing culture that emphasizes hard work, learning orientation, humility, and a Customer First approach.A clear performance management system.Family medical insurancePackage: INR 10,00,000 – 15,00,000 PALocation: Technopark phase I, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala 695581Experience: 5+ yearsWorking: 5 days a week.
