As a senior member of our team, you will embrace responsibility and have a strong desire to take ownership of problems and support your team to be the best they can be. Day-to-day, you will: Developing and supporting a web based case management system for Social Care in the UK Potentially working on interoperability projects, integrating with a wide range of third party systems e.g. NHS Working in a cross functional team in an agile methodology Working in full stack Take on responsibility in the technical design approach and reviewing work of other members of the team Helping to refine and size up stories, work and projects. Taking ownership of larger project pieces from design to sizing Developing unit tests alongside our code and following our quality gates and ever improving automated scans and checks Working to modernise our legacy code base Embracing and contributing to our automated pipelines and jobs Learning the technical stack of the Mosaic system and the domain of Social Care As a skilled Developer, your Skills and Experiences likely include: Development experience of at least 5 years and team lead experience of 3 years. Java & JavaScript (i.e. ReactJS, Backbone/Marionette) Software development experience across different technologies and stacks JavaScript MVC framework Web frameworks Struts, Spring for example Integration development and work with Rest services Familiarity with working with ESB or integration engine services SQL knowledge (experience with Oracle or MSSQL Databases) Unit testing Junit, TestNG, Jasmine, Jest for example Familiarity with GIT Familiarity with AzureDevOps Familiarity with Docker Familiarity with build tools ANT, Maven, Gradle for example Experience in agile methodology Excellent communication and written skills What are we all about The Access Group is one of the largest UK-headquartered providers of business management software to small and mid-sized organisations in the UK, Ireland, USA and Asia Pacific.
