SAP Manufacturing Specialist

Job Description:Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a SAP Manufacturing Specialist for one of our partners, a global leader in the chemical industry field.Job Summary:The SAP Manufacturing Specialist supports the effective implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of SAP manufacturing solutions within the organization. They provide deep functional expertise to ensure SAP systems align with manufacturing needs and drive operational excellence in coordination with the Digital Manufacturing CoE. Acting as a bridge between manufacturing operations and IT, this role ensures seamless delivery, configuration, and maintenance of SAP applications, enabling manufacturing efficiencies and high-quality production outcomes.Responsibilities:

• Configure, maintain, and enhance SAP modules supporting manufacturing processes (e.g.,PP, MM, QM).
• Act as the primary contact for SAP manufacturing module queries and technical issues.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to analyze requirements and deliver SAP-based solutions aligned with production needs.
• Ensure effective data flow and integration between SAP manufacturing modules and other enterprise systems.
• Conduct testing, validation, and debugging of SAP system configurations, updates, and customizations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing performance through SAP tools.
• Develop and deliver end-user training and documentation for SAP manufacturing functionalities.
• Support incident and problem management processes related to SAP manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with IT, digital manufacturing and cybersecurity CoE team members to ensure robust security and compliance.
• Participate in project planning and execution for SAP manufacturing system upgrades or new implementations.
• Monitor and report on SAP system performance metrics, addressing any bottlenecks or issues.
• Work with third-party vendors and consultants to deliver manufacturing enhancements in SAP.
• Contribute to cross-functional workshops and discussions to align SAP solutions with business requirements.
• Maintain updated knowledge of SAP advancements, trends, and best practices in manufacturing.
• Support change management processes to ensure smooth adoption of new SAP functionalities in manufacturing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP manufacturing modules, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Proven expertise in SAP PP, MM, and QM modules, with hands-on experience in configuration and support.
• Proven track record of leading SAP Manufacturing-related projects, initiatives, or audits, demonstrating project management skills, attention to detail, and a results-oriented approach.
• Excellent written and verbal English language proficiency.
