Rugby – Hardware Project Engineering Lead for VRF/PAC

#LI-DS2ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Has to drive & achieve for all engineering aspects (on spec, on time, and on cost) of an assigned Controls project.
• Engage Regional and/or global business point of contacts for gathering high level business requirements along with business case preparation
• Should be able to estimate product cost, project related development budget & tooling costs, and tracks & controls the cost and budget to meet the requirements.
• Identify dependencies and prioritize features based on business need.
• Review features/functionality to accept / reject the product / project specifications
• Be a liaison between Project Manager / Unit Product Management & Engineering team to define and manage detailed project schedule
• Define Product Vision, govern Tech roadmaps for IoT & Controls
• Drive Innovation within IoT and Controls
• Should be able to lead team, organizes, and moderates a regular Controls project team meeting.
• Should be able to lead activities to resolve incidents during the project and maintains information about the incidents and the measures (problem management).
• handles all engineering change requests based on the standardized methods & processes and maintains the proper balance between the need of changes and the potential detrimental impact of changes (change management).
• To be an interface to manufacturing regarding Controls products including documentation for production.
• Should ensures process compliance & regulatory compliance

EXPERIENCE: About 10+ years of professional experience of which

• 3+ years should be as a manager
• 5+ years in HVAC or manufacturing Industry
• 3+ years of experience as Hardware Engg lead

• Strong communication skills to articulate views/thoughts with internal resources, partners or customers.
• Ability to interface with global stakeholders, technology partners and customers.
• Ability to create and maintain productive relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Technical acumen in order to gain credibility amongst key stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking and ability to create product roadmap and product vision /strategy
• has good analytical way of thinking and structured approach.
• has good presentation skills including creating an understandable and structured slide materials.

EDUCATION BACKGROUND:Bachelor of Engineering / Technology – Electronics Engineer or Equivalent
