In this role, the QA Tester should have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication, competent in performance scripting, interpret test cases, and passionate about quality. Ultimately, the QA Tester will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work correctly.QA Tester responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and analyzing features and user stories to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
• Identify test requirements from specifications, document detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases and test scenarios for performance testing.
• Collaborate with QA colleagues to develop effective strategies and test plans.
• Execute performance test and analyze & present results.
• Reporting and documenting defects
• Active participation as a member of the Scrum team

• Communicate any obstacles to raise awareness and avoid project impediments and overall project timeline disruption.
• Work closely with software developers and business analysts to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Product Owner, Business Analysts, and Developers on tasks related to the planning, testing, and coordination of release activities.
• Adhere to the existing policies, processes, and procedures established for the Reinsurance Quality Assurance Team.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years performance test experience in LoadRunner
• Minimum of 6 months manual test experience
• Ability to work independently and within a team setting with minimal direction/supervision.
• Ability to think strategically, demonstrating critical thought in a complex business environment.
• Demonstrate solid understanding of testing fundamentals.
• Demonstrate effective professional communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Agile Training/Certification and/or Experience
• Reinsurance Experience, preferred.
• Workflow Management Tool experience, TFS / Azure DevOps
