Python Data Analyst

Job Description:We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with 4-6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, PySpark, and SQL, coupled with excellent analytical and data validation skills. A solid grasp of statistical techniques and the ability to extract actionable insights from complex datasets is essential.Location – Pune or KolkataKey Responsibilities:Data Pipeline Development:

• Design and implement robust data pipelines for data ingestion, cleansing, and transformation.

Data Extraction and Reporting:

• Extract relevant information from multiple data sources and create detailed reports to support stakeholder decision-making.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and translate them into analytical solutions.

Statistical Analysis:

• Utilize statistical techniques to analyze data, identifying patterns and trends for strategic decision-making.

Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA):

• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover insights and generate hypotheses for further investigation.

Data Visualization:

• Develop and present clear, impactful visualizations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.

Management Reporting:

• Create comprehensive management reports that highlight trends, patterns, and actionable predictions based on data.

Primary Skills:

• Proficiency in Python and PySpark.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Advanced data analysis and validation expertise.
• Proficiency in creating clear and actionable data visualizations.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

• Experience with MS Excel.
• Familiarity with Databricks for advanced data processing and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Python and PySpark, including writing, debugging, and optimizing code for data analysis and transformation.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills using PySpark and SQL.
• Comfortable working within agile methodologies, adapting to evolving project needs and priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Commitment to development best practices, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards.
