Assists Orthotist Technicians in fabricating, maintaining and adjusting all types of orthoses.
Brief Description1. Fabricates maintains and adjusts all types of orthoses as instructed by qualified orthotic technician.2. Prepares negative cast models for rectification process.3. Drapes lower extremity and spinal orthotics.4. Helps Orthotist Technicians in assembling orthoses.5. Adjusts and trims orthoses as instructed by orthotic technicians.6. Participates in self and others’ education, training and development, as applicable.7. Follows all Hospital’s related policies and procedures.8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Detailed Description
Associate Degree /Diploma in Prosthetics/Orthotics isrequired.
Job Requirements*Grade 07:Two (2) years of Prosthetics/Orthotics experience is required.*Grade 08:

• Four (4) years as anOrthotist Technician Assistant, or (Grade 07) related experince is required.
• Average of annualperformance appraisal at least (3.5) for the last four (4) years.
• Fifty (50) hours of cumulative continued medicaleducation [CME] is required.

Additional DetailsCurrent registration from country of origin and Saudi Commission for HealthSpecialties (SCHS) is required.
