The job requires close working with Business, various Manufacturing locations, Back-end co-ordinators viz., API, Purchase, Quality, R &D, Regulatory and business functions.DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Responsible for sharing the RFC Demand and ensuring Material Requirements Planning (MRP) is done as per specified timelines.
  • Generate shortages and share to all facilitators
  • Follow-up for deliveries of all RM / PM against shortages
  • Review at regular intervals on all aspects relating to RM/PM and maintain optimal inventory as per norms.
  • To closely interface with manufacturing and facilitate all issues in relation to RM / PM.
  • Ensure commits of all SKUs are in line with Demand.
  • Exceptions to be highlighted and escalated.
  • To conduct / facilitate S & OP, Executive S & OP & Strat S&OP meetings along with Demand Planners.
  • To ensure close interface with Quality / R &D / Regulatory and other facilitating functions for any issues relating to product.
  • Ensure classification of RM / PM into ABC categories
  • Periodic review of inventory by identifying slow moving, obsolete SKUs interface with slob management team for liquidation.
  • Follow-up with mfg on price implementation as per work flow.
  • Responsible for maintaining and ensuring robust Demand vs Commits vs Supply ratio with least gaps
  • Ensures that manufacturing budget is prepared and shared in consensus with all facilitators
  • Responsible to monitor budget vs actuals are met, else to raise flag to both Mfg & business thru Demand Planners for meeting the targets
  • Ensures right feedback is shared to business thru Demand Planners on product availability and issues at regular intervals.
  • To understand relevant methodologies, processes and standards operating procedures of all supply chain requirements
  • To co-ordinate with Head SCM in ensuring all key KPIs of SCM as per norms are monitored from time to time and achieved.
  • Responsibility of entire Forecasting of SKUs
  • Review Statistical Forecasting
  • Planning and forecasting accurately demand of the SKUs in APO
  • Interfacing with Sales Head for release forecast
  • Review / ensure forecast Accuracy are in line with the limits set.
  • Releasing Rolling Forecast (Demand) to Manufacturing
  • Interface with Business on fixing of Price increase as per process and plot in the RFC.
  • Follow-up with Mfg for commits
  • To conduct S & OP meeting with mfg plants.
  • To monitor on price increase implementation regularly
  • Interfacing with Marketing for new product requirements post launch and Physician Sample requirements for existing products
  • To co-ordinate with Logistics for movement of stocks from Mfg to RWs and forward movement to all locations.
  • To monitor and ensure TCS norms across locations
  • Regular review of stocks and ensure quick replenishment
  • Responsible for maintaining stocks levels as per Inventory Norms
  • Closely interface with business in relation to all stock related requirements and seek to get market inputs for forecasting accurately
  • Closely interface with Supply Planning, Mfg, Quality, Purchase and internal facilitators for seeking resolution to ensure seamless availability of all SKUs.
  • Responsible for MIS reports to Management relating to inventory / budgets / Forecast etc.
  • Provide long term forecasts for annual budgets for mfg capacity planning.
  • Responsible for identifying slow moving SKUs, short expiries and interface with business for liquidation.
  • To ensure classification of SKUs into ABC categories
  • Identify C class brands periodically, review with business for SKU rationalization prior to budget preparation.
