Infotainment Testing

• Test Automation: Develop and execute Python test automation scripts for infotainment systems.
• Infotainment Testing: Perform manual and automated testing of automotive navigation features such as Route Guidance, Map (2D/3D), and Destination Input.
• Black Box Testing: Conduct black box testing for navigation features including Route Guidance, POI, Route Simulation, Address Lookup, Map Display and Control, and Location Table.
• Test Planning: Define and execute test scripts for sanity, smoke, and regression testing on full test benches.
• Setup Test Environments: Set up test benches, Bluepirat, HU, backend servers, etc.
• Grey Box Testing: Perform grey box testing for infotainment features across multiple projects.
• Documentation: Create and maintain test plans, test designs, and test cases using specifications, user guides, and use cases.
• Issue Tracking: Identify software issues, log them into the issue tracking system with supporting data, and collaborate with the development team for resolution.
• Data Analysis: Record, process, and analyze data using PC-based tools and test instrumentation.
• Reporting: Document testing activities and create detailed test reports following defined process guidelines (DanteSTARC & Confluence).

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience:

• Mandatory:

• 3 to 6 years of experience in automotive infotainment testing.
• Preferred:

• Experience with sanity, smoke, and regression testing on full test benches.
• Technical Expertise:

• Mandatory:

• Strong experience in testing complete navigation features for different vehicle lines, regions, and languages.
• Proficiency in Python test automation.
• Strong knowledge of automotive navigation, infotainment, and telematics domains.
• Experience in defining and executing manual and automated test scripts.
• Preferred:

• Programming experience in languages like C# and Python.
• Soft Skills:

• Mandatory: Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer interfacing skills.
• Preferred: Strong professionalism and judgment.
• Verification: Be prepared to undergo a technical assessment and code review as part of the interview process.

Education & Training:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related field.
