- Candidate must possess at least SPM, Diploma, or Advanced/Higher qualification in transportation or equivalent.
- At least 3-5 years of working experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry (Declaration).
- Knowledge of Customs and Port Authority requirements (K1-9), ZB1 & ZB2, COO & FTA, and HS codes.
- Required skill(s): Strong verbal communication and presentation skills, self-disciplines, computer literate, presentation preparation and report.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Malay.
- Willing to work in a challenging environment.
- Possession of “Kursus Ejen Kastam” certification is a plus.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Language required: Mandarin & English.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge and experience in handling K1/K2/K3/K4/K8/K9/ZB1/ZB2/ZB4 and DG declarations.
- Handle all customs formalities with customs and other authorities regarding customs clearance.
- Manage forwarding activities to ensure timely clearance of import and export goods.
- Visit the port daily to process customs file submissions (if needed).
- Monitor and update container statuses through the port system.
- Oversee the loading and unloading processes at warehouses and ports (if needed).
- Experienced in EDI, Dagang.NET, and Port VGM submissions.
- Liaise with clients and agents to provide proper HS codes and advise on duty/tax amounts upon inquiry.
- Provide timely reports and appropriate analysis.
- Ensure proper documentation filing and system updates.
- Undertake any other duties assigned by the superior from time to time.
