FIELD OPERATOR I

Primary Purpose of the Job:Operates and adjusts production facilities as directed by General Operator/SeniorOperator within designated limits to ensure maximum recovery/injection on assignedshift. Will work on standby duty on a rotational basis, when assigned to Wellheadoperations.The Field Operator I is expected to work as directed in any of the plant areas coveredby the Oil Operations Department. These areas are:- Khatiyah Main, North and SouthDegassing stations, Fahahil North, Fahahil Main, Fahahil South and Jaleha Degassingstations, Fahahil Stripping Plant, Fahahil North Gas Lift Compressor Station, Gas liftmanifolds, Powered Water lnjection stations, Wellheads and related Pipelines inDukhan field.The Field Operator I may be required to work on shifts depending on the area to whichhe is assigned. Required Experience and Skills:Minimum 4 years experience in operating process plant in the oil or petrochemicalindustry. Educational Qualifications:Completion of Secondary (12 years) education followed by 3 years formal technicaltraining in process plant operations plus relevant short courses in safety, plantoperations or equivalent. For nationals TAFE or equivalent.
