Embedded Software Engineer

Job Title: Embedded Software EngineerJob DescriptionThe Embedded Software Engineer will focus on enhancing and modifying existing refrigeration product platforms. This role supports application changes for new components or algorithm modifications, including tasks such as adding more fan controls and updating new model lines. The engineer will work primarily with embedded systems and some UI implementations.Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in C++ and embedded software development.
• Experience in working with embedded systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience with embedded systems.
• 3+ years of experience with C/C++.
• 3+ years of experience with building pipelines.
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD.
• 3+ years of experience with Python.

Work EnvironmentThe position offers a hybrid work schedule, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Initially, the candidate will be expected to work onsite while transitioning to the hybrid schedule. The role provides an opportunity to work with a prominent company in Madison and expand knowledge in software development.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $48.08 – $55.29/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
