Embedded Hardware Designer

Greetings of the Day!!Experience in Embedded hardware design (digital and analog, DSP)· Experience in hardware architecture design, component selection and design analysis· Hands on experience in design analysis- DFMEA, FMEDA, worst case circuit analysis· Experience in the automotive industry· Experience in automotive functional safety according to ISO26262 / DO-178· Experience with schematic capture such as OrCAD, Altium· Demonstrated ability to document their work· Customer centric orientation· Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams· Proactive and autonomous· Knows how to take a critical look at his work and that of others· Rigorous and respectful of deadlines· Excellent communication skills to deal with international teamsJob Description / ResponsibilitiesAs a Control Electronics Design Engineer in the Electronic Product Development group, you will be involved in all stages of the life cycle of high voltage traction inverters and chargers, from the architecture to the production, through the design and the validation. You will be at the forefront to support the various production lines, whether in Quebec, China or India. You will be part of a team involving experts from all fields, and will need to be imaginative and creative in order to ensure the efficiency and the quality of customers TM4 traction systems. Major responsibilities and challenges handled by this role:· Design digital and analog electronic circuits with microcontrollers· Responsible for schematic design, BOM creation, bring-up testing, debugging, functional testing, validation.· Electronic component analysis and evaluation· Design electronic circuits that comply with electro-magnetic compatibility (EMC) standards· Participate in the design of analog and digital printed circuits considering thermal constraints and signal integrity· Produce and control electronic card production documentation· Participate and facilitate design reviews of printed circuits and complete products· Represent the company as a technical expert when meeting with clients· Propose, improve, and maintain the processes of design, documentation and release of PCBs
