Director, Digital Marketing

Overview: The Director, Digital Marketing has three primary responsibilities: 1) Implement and optimize the company’s digital marketing strategy across all digital platforms; 2) Assist with the professional development of the in-house digital and marketing automation team; and 3) Oversee relationships with external vendors, contractors, and agencies.This role will collaborate with the team to consistently meet and/or exceed mutually agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The role will leverage analytic data to develop digital programs and campaigns that nurture sales prospects to create greater velocity through the sales pipeline.The role will interact with key departments, including Sales, Sales Operations, Product Development, IT, and Customer Operations. In this role, the Director of Digital Marketing will adopt industry best practices, work toward establishing new industry best practices at the company, and then share these with the B2B marketing community at large.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the MarTech stack and its interoperability.
  • Assist with the development of a digital marketing roadmap to transform the company’s digital lead and demand generation marketing efforts across all channels, implementing best practices using data and insights for continued success.
  • Assist with management of SEO/PPC partners/agencies and interpret data, identify key findings, make recommendations, and implement changes based on those findings for future SEO improvements.
  • Assist with the creation of the Marketing department’s digital strategy that builds brand and creates revenue growth through lead and demand generation utilizing PPC, web traffic, social, and email.
  • Develop A/B or multivariant testing and optimization processes to improve efficiencies, program performance, and competitive advantages continually.
  • Assist with the oversight and maintenance of the website while working in conjunction with other Marketing team members and key stakeholders outside the department.
  • Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures, and mission statement.
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times concerning any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position.
  • Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that Inovalon may provide to achieve the Employer’s operational and financial success.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of digital marketing experience, with a minimum of 7 years in team management.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, and related digital analytics tools.
  • Experience with Workato, Zapier, N8N or a similar automation tool.
  • Deep expertise in email, SEM, PPC, social, and other digital acquisition channels.
  • Strong collaborator able to work with other Marketing and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking, with experience in communication and reporting to upper management.
  • Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver on tight deadlines.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
  • High-energy and goal-oriented, with a positive attitude.
  • Experience working with industry-standard tools for data gathering, tracking, and collaboration, such as Google Analytics, Google Keyword Planner, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience leveraging SEO skills: technical SEO (tags, UI/UX), link building, social media, content marketing, and landing pages.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, computer science, information science, or a related area.
  • Master’s degree preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time).
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force.
  • Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions.
  • Subject to inside environmental conditions.
  • Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes.
