Growing together.Position in this function builds and maintains the tooling and infrastructure used to automate the release, deployment, and upgrade processes. Combines software development and IT operations practices which shorten the systems delivery life cycle and provide a continuous delivery platform. Improve communication and collaboration to enable rapid product development by serving as the liaison between the development and operations teams. Dev-Ops area complements the efficiencies of Agile software development methods by creating more stable operating environments, and continuously improving the infrastructure to be easily deployable and scalable. Incumbents maintain advanced knowledge of development processes and programming languages.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes and investigates
  • Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise
  • Build and maintain pipelines and automation through GitOps (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.), should have working experience on CI/CD pipelines, Jenkin configurations
  • Candidate should be familiar with one-click deployment methods and help create easy build pipelines for development team to do seamless deployment
  • Build monitoring and alerting templates for various cloud metrics (Zabbix, Grafana, Splunk)
  • Mentor other team members on standard tools, process, automation, general DevOps practice maturity
  • Be able to help the team in software deployment strategies, application performance strategies and should play are major role in providing guidance to the team to develop better build strategies for continuous deployment
  • Be able to help the team in debugging any issues during production deployment
  • Managing and Upgrading the servers to resolve the PLM vulnerabilities
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Kubernetes container orchestration, Kubectl commands and able to help developers in setting up environment to deploy services locally, build and maintain platform level services on top of HCC
  • Working experience on cloud deployments like Azure, Google Cloud, AWS
  • Working experience in analyzing and resolving security vulnerabilities across multiple applications as part of DevSecOps practices
  • CI/CD using Jenkins and Azure, HCC Kubernetes, Azure Cloud Development, GIT, Docker experience
  • Server side scripting languages like Shell Scripting, Python
  • Programming knowledge (primarily to resolve Security Vulnerabilities) Java, Springboot, .NET, Angular
  • Database Knowledge (primarily for PLM activities) SQL Server, Access DB
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
  • Proven excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Proven solid communication and collaboration skills
