Job Category: Hotel-KitchenJob Description:As a Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP), you will assist the Chef de Partie in overseeing a specific section of the kitchen. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within your section. This role is ideal for an experienced Commis Chef who is ready to take the next step in their culinary career.YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section according to the restaurant’s standards.
• Support the Chef de Partie in the daily operation of your section.
• Ensure consistent food quality and presentation.
• Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
• Follow hygiene and health and safety regulations.
• Receive and store deliveries properly.
• Help train and supervise junior staff, such as Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in your work area.
• Assist in developing new dishes and menus.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• Proven experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie in a professional kitchen.
• Culinary degree or professional kitchen training is preferred.
• Solid understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Passion for food and willingness to learn.
