- We are looking for Assistant Project Engineer – with details as follows :
The Job :
- Tertiary eduaction in Engineering preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Railway Engineering.
- Fresh graduates or 1-3 years work experience in engineering/tender/building/construction… or related
- Knowledge in railway projects, with specific experience in tendering and procurement is a plus
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.
- Report to Project Manager
- Team work to participate in project coordination and tender submission
- Tender Preparation: Prepare and compile tender documents, including technical specifications, cost estimates, and project proposals.
- Tender Evaluation: Participate in tender evaluation meetings, analyze bids, and assist in the selection of contractors.
- Cost Estimation: Develop detailed cost estimates for railway projects, including materials, labor, and overheads.
- Contract Negotiation: Assist in negotiating contracts with contractors, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with project requirements.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with various departments to ensure all tender requirements are met and project timelines are adhered to.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and progress reports.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and clients, to keep them informed of project progress and address any concerns.
