We are looking for a seasoned Android Developer for a W2 Contract role in San Leandro, CA (Onsite/Hybrid, nearby applicants only). This position requires 7+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Android applications using Kotlin and Java. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with modern mobile development practices, strong technical skills, and the ability to publish and maintain apps in the Google Play Store.Position: Android Developer

Experience: 7+ YearsKey Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using modern tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Implement best practices for Reactive Programming (RxJava), Dependency Injection (Dagger), and Retrofit for seamless API integration.
• Build applications using Kotlin, including constructs, coroutines, and Jetpack architecture components.
• Publish applications on the Google Play Store and maintain app store presence.
• Utilize modern development practices to ensure code quality, scalability, and performance.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on mobile development experience.
• 4+ years of experience in Android development within an enterprise environment.
• 3+ years of experience with Kotlin and associated technologies.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and other relevant programming languages.
• Knowledge of Reactive Programming, Dagger, Retrofit, and Jetpack Architecture Components.
• Familiarity with app publishing processes for mobile app stores.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in FinTech or Banking domains (nice to have but not required).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Technical degree or equivalent experience in software development.
